CM Nitish Kumar Inspects Industrial Units in Fatuha, Highlights Women Employment and Exports

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday inspected various industrial units located in the Fatuha Industrial Area under BIADA. During his visit, he emphasized the importance of industrial growth, women’s employment, and export opportunities for the state’s economic development.
The Chief Minister first visited Vanshi Medicare Pvt. Ltd., a company engaged in the production of surgical gloves. He inspected the manufacturing and testing units and interacted with the employees to understand the production process and challenges faced by the industry.
Following this, CM Kumar visited Vanshi Air Gases Pvt. Ltd., where oxygen cylinders are being refilled. Company officials informed that the unit currently provides employment to around 300 to 350 people, with special emphasis on giving priority to women workers to enhance their financial independence. The company not only caters to the domestic market but also exports its products to Kenya and Nepal, showcasing Bihar’s growing industrial footprint.
Later, the Chief Minister toured High Spirit Commercial Ventures Pvt. Ltd., a company engaged in the production of school bags and backpacks. He inspected the cutting, stitching, and checking departments and appreciated the quality of the work. Like Vanshi Medicare, this company too has prioritized women’s employment and supplies its products not only across India but also to neighboring countries.
Speaking on the occasion, CM Nitish Kumar said that Fatuha Industrial Area has emerged as an important hub for Bihar’s industrial growth. He reiterated the government’s commitment to providing industrial land, infrastructure, and support so that more industries can flourish, thereby generating employment for local youth.
The Chief Minister was accompanied by his Principal Secretary Deepak Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary (Industries) Mihir Kumar Singh, Secretary to CM Kumar Ravi, Special Officer Gopal Singh, Commissioner of Patna Division Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh, District Magistrate Dr. Tyagarajan S.M., SSP Kartikeya K. Sharma, and other senior officials.
